Lightning-Fast Navigation with Global Search

A powerful new way to navigate your devices, cohorts, releases and more with lightning speed

We're thrilled to announce an exciting new feature that will supercharge your productivity: global search! Inspired by OSX Spotlight and Command+K, we've introduced a global search functionality into Peridio to enable teams to quickly jump to any device, cohort, release or other key page in the application with just a few keystrokes.

Global search adds a new search bar at the top of every page. Click the search bar or type "/" to launch it, then type your query to instantly see matching devices, cohorts, releases, artifacts, and more. Select a result to jump straight to that page in the application.

With global search, checking device details or viewing cohort settings is just a quick search away. No more clicking through multiple application levels. Just search, click, and go!

Some of the most commonly searched resources include:

  • Devices: Quickly look up a specific device by name or ID to view its details and status
  • Cohorts: Jump straight to a cohort's settings or analytics pages
  • Releases: Find information about a particular release, such as included artifacts and devices
  • Artifacts: Locate a specific artifact version to view its details or initiate a deployment
  • Products: Navigate to a product's overview or settings pages

By enabling our users to instantly surface and jump to these key resources, global search saves teams valuable time and clicks.

To use this, simply click the search bar or type "/" to launch it, enter a few characters to see instant results, then click a result or hit enter to navigate there. It's fast, fluid, and puts the entire application at your fingertips.

This is just the first version. Going forward, we'll be adding more customization options and even smarter results. So give it a try and let us know what you think. We'd love to hear your feedback on how global search is working for you and what improvements you'd like to see.
